Wednesday, September 27. The REAL is about 90% packed and ready for shipment back to Chico. The MPDs and Doppler lidars departed for Boulder today. The gas cylinders (He, Ar, CH4) departed by Fed Ex Freight for Chico. Below: Ben Crane loads the empty helium bottles (for radiosondes) and the methane and argon that were on hand (but unused) for the REAL Raman cell for return shipment to AirGas in Chico.
