Ohmed out all connectors of Signal Panel to Nose DSM Enclosure. Nothing shorting out at that time.
Tested power on AC/DC Power Supply. 115VAC IN 24VDC OUT
Tested power on DC/DC card. 24VDC IN 5VDC OUT 12VDC OUT
Connected DSM to Surface tablet near ADS. Booted 3x, DSM did not fail.
Powered ON DSM in Nose Enclosure and ***NO POWER*** was evident on the DSM anywhere. No lights on the DC/DC card, Timing card, Power Panel. Verified the switch at the ADS rack, cycled the circuit breaker at the Main Power Distribution Panel, cycled switch on Power Panel. Nothing...
Took DSM back into cabin to test Power... The first time, DSM Power behaved the same as in the Nose (above). After this, we were unable to reproduce this failure. Booted 3 times successfully in cabin - each time poking and prodding on power wires trying to make it fail.
Took DSM back out to Nose. Successfully booted 3 times at the Nose while connected to the Surface tablet, each time pushing and pulling on connectors and jostling the enclosure.
Removed Surface Serial cable and connected Nose Console cable. With the DSM fully installed, successfully booted DSM 2 times and once more after 10 minutes with it being powered OFF.
