  1. While performing an A/D Cal, a bad A/D channel was found in DSM 305. Analog Card S/N 018; Ch. 5; CAVP_DPL. The intercept was ~0.3 off. *I don't recall precisely and I did not write it down. Will redo this cal tomorrow.

The DSM was rebooted twice but the symptom remained. Using "Test Analog Channels" a voltage was simulated on Ch. 5. With inputs of OFF, 0V and, 1V, the channel displayed a measured voltage, but it was high. With a 5V input, the measured voltaged was nan and Aeros displayed -32767. It seems the cal coefficients for this one particular channel are incorrect. All other A/D channels look fine and pass the Auto A/D Cal.

Moved the Spare ADS Server from the R-1 rack to the ADS (R-6) rack. Swapped ADS Servers. All files and necessary information is being copied from the Primary Server onto the Spare Server to bring it up to date. It is likely that we will continue the project using the Spare ADS Server.

    Cleaned 2D-C probe mirrors. (10um and 25um)

Tightened set screws on CDP probe tips. Inboard tip was loose.

    Cleaned DPL mirror.

Flushed Heated Temp Probe with water.

Blew out Nose Pressure Lines. Cleared a lot of water out of QCR and top ADIFR line.

Tested RICE sensor. With power ON, RICE reads ~1.1V. When holding the RICE tip (simulating ice buildup) it reads 7.5V to 8.5V. There is no indication of noise during the necessarily short test duration.

  2. Thanks Dave a lot of work, RICE looks clean still very good!
