09:43Z - DSM325 time lag of 1-3 seconds observed on controls status page.
Rebooted DSM. Time lag remained
RSTT came up without issue.
Flight:
Camera's failed to start. Firewire card "zombie" process appears to be the culprit. No in-flight solution possible.
10:07Z - Another reboot of DSM325 was attempted with the same result.
Lag determined to be within acceptable margins by Catherine.
11:29 Z - Power cycled PHIPs at Franzi's request.
12:30Z / 15:30Z - Topped of dry ice reservoir at L9 rack.
15:58Z → 16:18Z - ADIFR flooded during descent and ascent of cloud profile pass. Recovered afterward. CVI and SDI Inlets thought to be similarly impacted.
2DC performed better than on RF06. Brief ~10 seconds drops noted on occasion. But no sustained outages.
Re: dsm325 time lag on control page - there is a line item somewhere, "crony tracking" I believe. Updates slowly, every 11 or 17 seconds, that should tell you the DSMs real time offset.
