Alan added a new gui for vizfeatures that needs to be reviewed
Alan pointed out that error handling within vaporgui still has not been addressed.
John proposed that "user settings" be reclassified as startup settings, and that this would remove some of ambiguity between the current "visualizer" and "user" settings.
Next meeting we will discuss the organization of the current user and visualizer features/settings GUI.
John pointed out that the textRender was not handling openGL errors adequately (calls to glGetError need to be in a loop)
There was discussion on whether we had achieved our goal of separating the gui from the back-end rendering. I.e. Would it be possible to build an alternate UI on top of the control executive?
