In the January/February 2011 issue of Weatherwise magazine I published an article titled "Could Wind Have Parted the Red Sea?" (Volume 64, Number 1, pages 30-35). Figure 5 of the article shows a satellite photo of the Kedua Gap today. I used Google Earth polygons to show the outline of ancient coastal lagoons, and pushpins to locate archaeological sites in the eastern Nile delta.
