Project Vision
The Wyoming supercomputing center is a hub for education, outreach and community service. It is a visitor friendly facility that serves as an educational resource for schools and the community. It creates excitement about sciences and the environment.
Mission Statement
The mission of this project is to develop ideas and strategies to support the project vision for the new supercomputing center within the Cheyenne, Wyoming community. Ideas are focused on community service, education and outreach with respect for and understanding of the uniqueness of the Wyoming culture and community.
Project Scope
This project is intended to generate ideas for how to integrate the new NCAR facility into the Wyoming community. Topics explored will focus on how we enhance our relationships with the people of Wyoming and ideas generated will be presented to UCAR management for future planning and potential implementation. Due to the sensitive nature of current negotiations, communications will be limited to the UCAR team and any external communications will be cleared by the Project office.
