Access
Road (currently) plowed past the sounding site as far as the gate into the field. We have driven almost to the site a couple times (stopped before the standing water) but it's pretty soft and wet so walk in preferred unless we have heavy things to bring. May be easier to access in the morning when things are still more frozen.

Tower operation
Cables are not dressed at all (yet?) on this tower. So far we have raised and lowered without problems, but (especially when lowering) keep an eye on cables getting bound on each other. It seems to work pretty well to keep pulling cables tight when raising and lowering to avoid getting really big loops in any of them. I taped the lower rings together here too.
